Job Title: Transcriptionist
Job Description: A transcriptionist is responsible for transcribing
medical documents based on physician recordings. Job Duties include: receiving, transcribing and editing digital
voice files, copy and paste transcription into patients electronic
chart/template, and electronic faxing of transcription to referring physician.
Preferred Skills:
High School Diploma required. Excellent computer skills and must have
excellent medical terminology, Orthopaedics a plus. Ability to interface with support departments
and articulate issues and concerns. Experience with Next Gen EMR systems a
plus.
