Job Description: The Radiological Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients to meet the established practice parameters and standards of care, including: proper positioning of patient, technical factor selection, patient identification, radiation protection, and professional patient care, assessment and documentation. Other duties to include medical assisting to the physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Preferred Skills:
Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Registered and Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensed by the state of Delaware. Good computer skills and experience with PACS system. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to make independent decisions using critical thinking, problem solving and perform responsibilities under stressful situations. Meet technical standards. Must be capable of working variable schedules.
